Day 1Delhi

Welcome to Delhi, the modern Indian nation’s capital. When you arrive, you are welcomed and driven to your accommodation. You can unwind for the remainder of the day. Delhi overnight.

Day 2Delhi

Start your tour of Old Delhi in the morning, stopping at the Raj Ghat, the Red Fort, and the Jama Mosque. Set out on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi in the late afternoon, stopping at Safdarjang’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb. Drive through the diplomatic enclave known as the Embassy area. Stop for a brief photo opportunity at the India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and Connaught Place, the city’s primary commercial district. Delhi overnight.

Day 3Delhi / Mandawa

You travel 280 kilometres (6 hours) by car from Delhi to Mandawa in the morning. Check into your hotel as soon as you arrive. Visit Mandawa in the afternoon, a town from the 18th century with some of the best painted havelis in the area and a fort built in 1760. One of the best havelis in the area, the Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli was constructed in 1870 and features some excellent murals. Sleep in Mandawa.

Day 4Mandawa / Bikaner

You go 190 kilometres (5 hours) by car from Mandawa to Bikaner this morning. The conquest by Rao Bikas in 1486 AD is when the desert town of Bikaner first appeared. On the ancient Silk Road and once a bustling commercial hub, Bikaner still exudes a strong sense of the Middle Ages. Check into your hotel as soon as you arrive. Set out on an afternoon excursion to see the spectacular Junagarh Fort from the 16th century. There are also other interesting locations, such the well-known camel breeding farm outside the town (closed on Sunday). In Bikaner, spend the night.

Day 5Bikaner / Jaisalmer

You travel 330 kilometres (7 hours) by car from Bikaner to Jaisalmer this morning. Jaisalmer was once a stop on the camel commerce route connecting India and Central Asia. Like a golden mirage, the metropolis appears to appear out of nowhere. The magnificent fort on the hill, constructed with local stone that is a golden yellow colour, commands attention. Explore its alleyways to find havelis with intricately carved stone facades. In Jaisalmer, spend the night.

Day 6Jaisalmer

The day has been set aside for a tour of Jaisalmer’s highlights. Start with the Jaisalmer Fort, which Rawal Jaisal constructed in 1156 on the Trikuta hill. Within the fort walls, there are palaces and bazaars that are still inhabited. Visit the havelis as well, opulent residences with carved stone facades that are the property of affluent merchants. The Ganga Sagar Tank and Museum, which houses several little temples and shrines, are additional attractions. Visit the Sam Sand Dunes in the afternoon. To see the sunset, ride a camel through the sand dunes. The entire outing is a memorable one thanks to the Rajasthani setting, the sunset, and the camel ride. In Jaisalmer, spend the night.

Day 7Jaisalmer / Jodhpur

Drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (308 km/6 hours) after breakfast. Rao Jodha created Jodhpur in 1459, which served as the Marwar state’s capital under the Rathor family’s control. It is dotted with forts and palaces from the 15th century that bear witness to the history of this princely state and are located right at the edge of the Thar Desert. Check into your hotel as soon as you arrive. Sleep in Jodhpur.

Day 8Jodhpur

Start your Jodhpur sightseeing tour at the impressive hilltop Mehrangarh Fort. The Fort is entered by a succession of gates with names like Jayapol, Fatepol, and Lahapol. Visit the Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), Sukh Mahal (Pleasure Palace), and Phool Mahal (Flower Palace) palaces that are housed inside the fort. Visit the Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph constructed in 1899 as a tribute to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, by continuing the journey. The afternoon is at leisure. Sleep in Jodhpur.

Day 9Jodhpur / Udaipur

Drive time from Jodhpur to Udaipur is 6 hours (259 km). Visit the 15th-century Ranakpur Jain Temples along the way for their elaborately carved architecture. Its 1444 uniquely designed pillars support its 29 halls. Continue driving to Udaipur and check into your hotel when you get there. Sleep in Udaipur.

Day 10Udaipur

Start your Udaipur sightseeing trip. Known as the Venice of the East, Maharana Udai Singh founded the opulent city of Udaipur in 1568. Visit the City Palace to start your tour, which features mirrored walls, ivory doors, tinted glass windows, inlaid marble balconies, and a courtyard with peacocks. Visit the Jagdish temple, the charming Sahelion-ki-bari gardens, and the neighbourhood museum as well. Enjoy a motor launch cruise on Lake Pichola’s serene waters in the evening. Visit the Jag Mandir Palace as well; it is a gorgeous island palace on the lake. Sleep in Udaipur.

Day 11Udaipur / Pushkar

Drive the 280 kilometres (6 hours) from Udaipur to Pushkar, stopping to see the Chittorgarh fort along the way.

In Udaipur, check into your accommodation as soon as possible. In the afternoon, visit the Pushkar Lake, the Brahma Temple, and the neighbourhood markets. Sleep in Pushkar.

Day 12Pushkar / Jaipur

You travel 150 kilometres (4 hours) by car from Pushkar to Jaipur this morning. The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, was constructed in the 18th century by Raja Jai Singh and is a charming city in a symphony of pink. The remainder of the day is free. Jaipur overnight stay.

Day 13Jaipur

Travel 12 kilometres outside of Jaipur to Amer Fort on a side trip. It was the former capital of the Kaisshawah dynasty and one of the best examples of Rajput architecture. Take pleasure in riding an elephant with a colourful caparison up to the Palace. Explore the palace’s numerous chambers and passageways, which are renowned for their architecture and ornamentation. Proceed to a city tour in the late afternoon, stopping at Jantar Mantar, a special stone observatory, the lavish City Palace and its museums, and driving by the Hawa Mahal. Jaipur overnight stay.

Day 14Jaipur / Agra

Drive 221 kilometres (6 hours) from Jaipur to Agra, stopping along the way to see Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned red sandstone city constructed by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. The Bulund Darwaza, the tallest entrance in the world, and the magnificent white marble mausoleum of the revered Sufi saint Shaik Salim Chishti are both located here. Drive on to Agra, the Mughal empire’s capital in the 16th and 17th centuries. Visit your hotel to check in after arrival. Overnight in Agra.

Day 15Agra/Delhi

Take a city trip to see the TAJ MAHAL, a lavish marble monument of love that Shah Jahan constructed in 1653 as a tribute to his queen Mumtaz Mahal (closed on Fridays). This stunning tomb in pure white marble, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, took 22 years and 22,000 artisans to construct. The Agra Fort, a historic red sandstone fort constructed by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565, is the next stop on your journey. The intricately designed gardens, marble mosque, and opulent private chambers of the fort are a reflection of the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. You travel from Agra to Delhi’s airport in the late afternoon (203 km; 4.5 hours) in order to catch a flight to your next location.
