Tour Details

Day 1Arrive Delhi

At Delhi International Airport, you will be welcomed and driven to the hotel of your choosing. Your trip to North and South India starts in Delhi, the capital of India and home to more than 15 million people. Delhi overnight.

Day 2In Kolkata

A sightseeing tour of Kolkata includes stops at the grand Victoria Memorial, the Birla Planetarium, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the Indian Museum after breakfast at the hotel. Spend the night in Kolkata.

Day 3Kolkata – Bagdogra - Gangtok

Transfer to the airport after breakfast in order to catch a flight to Bagdogra, the entry point to the eastern Himalayas. When you arrive at Bagdogra Airport, you will be met and transferred by car (120 km/four hours) to Gangtok, the capital of the hill state of Sikkim. On your arrival in Gangtok check into the hotel Norkhill. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 4In Gangtok

A sightseeing trip of Gangtok visiting the Rumtek Monastery, the Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, the Institute of Cottage Industries, and the 200-year-old Enchey monastery is followed by breakfast at the hotel. Sleep in Gangtok.

Day 5Gangtok- Darjeeling

After breakfast, travel by road the 98 kilometres (03 hours) to Darjeeling. In Darjeeling, check into the hotel The Elgin when you arrive. Darjeeling, stay the night.

Day 6In Darjeeling

Visiting Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery in the morning. Because of the breathtaking views of some of the highest peaks in the world, you will always look back on your early morning visit to Tiger Hill as the highlight of your Darjeeling and Sikkim vacation. Visit the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, the Himalayan Zoological Park, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Gumbu Rock location, and the tea gardens in the evening. Darjeeling, stay the night.

Day 7Darjeeling - Kalimpong

After breakfast, travel 55 km (1 1/2 hours) by road to Kalimpong. When you get to Kalimpong, check into the Silver Oak hotel. Later sightseeing excursion of Kalimpong, visiting ‘Gompas’ (Tibetian-Buddhist Monasteries) and flower nurseries; Kalimpong is a significant orchid growing region and produces 80% of the country’s gladioli. Kalimpong, spend the night.

Day 8Kalimpong – Bagdogra – Kolkata and Deaprt

After breakfast, make the 100 km (3 hours) trip to Bagdogra Airport in time to catch the flight to Kolkata. Arrive in Kolkata, then take another aircraft to your final destination.
