Tour Details

Day 1Bangalore - Mysore (150 km/03 hrs approx)

Be picked up from International Airport or Hotel in Bangalore Proceed to Mysore enroute visit Srirangapattanam- Erstwhile capital of the Mysore State under the regime of Tippu Sultan. The Daria Daulat Palace and the Gumbaz are the true reminiscences of the life and times of the great emperor. Drive on to Mysore and check in at the hotel on arrival.

Afternoon proceed on a sightseeing tour of Mysore Proceed on a sightseeing tour of Mysore visiting Mysore Place which is one of the largest palaces in the country. It was the residence of the Wodeyar Maharaja’s of the Mysore state and exhibits a huge collection of artefacts. Also visit Chamundi hills and Deveraja Market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2Mysore - Coorg (Kutta) (120kms/3 1/2 hrs)

Breakfast; check out from the hotel and proceed to Kutta- the southern part of Coorg rich in it’s flora and fauna and also the largest Coffee growing region in southern India. Arrive and check in at the Home stay. Leave for Tholpetty Forest (Part of Nagarhole wildlife sanctuary) and go on a for 2 hour Jeep safari. Nagarhole wild life sanctuary is a tiger reserve. The list of inhabitant’s mostly sighted covers elephants, spotted deers, buffaloes and wild bores. Early Evening: a learning experience on wearing the Saree- the Coorg style. Dinner and Overnight at the Homestay.

Day 3Coorg

Breakfast Proceed for the trekking in forest accompanied by a forest guard, an exciting experience to understand the flora and fauna of the region. Rest of the day free to interact with your friendly and knowledgeable host, later proceed for coffee plantation visit where host will explain about coffee and the spice plantations. Evening witness Cooking demo followed by Barbeque dinner. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 4Coorg - Chickamagalur (225 Km/5 1/2 hrs).

Breakfast; check out and proceed to Chickamagalur. Check in at your home stay on arrival. Lunch at the home stay; Later proceed to see Coffee pulping -the coffee purification method, (seasonal activity available from December to February and closed on Sundays) followed by a visit to Coffee Museum – an interesting and must visit place for everyone – travelling to Chickamagalur and like coffee. This Museum gives an insight of Indian coffee history and its preservation. (Closed on Saturdays and Sundays) Overnight at Homestay .

Day 5Chickamagalur

Breakfast; Enjoy the refreshing walk through the coffee plantations guided mostly by the host or a knowledgeable local guide who will share the history of Coffee in Chikamagalore, also see coffee picking (seasonal activity available from December to February and closed on Sundays) Lunch at the Homestay. Evening: Go on a jeep safari in Bhadra wildlife sanctuary which is part of tiger reserve project. Dinner & Overnight at Homestay.

Day 6Chickamagalur - Hassan - Bangalore (200Kms/4Hrs)

Breakfast; Checkout and drive to Bangalore enroute visits Belur and Halebeedu temples which are traditional and authentic manifestation of rich Indian temple architecture. Lunch at Hoysala Village hotel. Later drive to Bangalore.
