Set out on an afternoon excursion to see the spectacular Junagarh Fort from the 16th century. You travel 330 kilometres (7 hours) by car from Bikaner to Jaisalmer this morning. Jaisalmer was once a stop on the camel commerce route connecting India and Central Asia. Like a golden mirage, the metropolis appears to appear out of nowhere. The magnificent fort on the hill, constructed with local stone that is a golden yellow colour, commands attention. Explore its alleyways to find havelis with intricately carved stone facades. In Jaisalmer, spend the night.
The day has been set aside for a tour of Jaisalmer’s highlights. Start with the Jaisalmer Fort, which Rawal Jaisal constructed in 1156 on the Trikuta hill. Within the fort walls, there are palaces and bazaars that are still inhabited. Visit the havelis as well, opulent residences with carved stone facades that are the property of affluent merchants. The Ganga Sagar Tank and Museum, which houses several little temples and shrines, are additional attractions. Visit the Sam Sand Dunes in the afternoon. To see the sunset, ride a camel through the sand dunes. The entire outing is a memorable one thanks to the Rajasthani setting, the sunset, and the camel ride. In Jaisalmer, spend the night.

Proceed to a city tour in the late afternoon, stopping at Jantar Mantar, a special stone observatory, the lavish City Palace and its museums, and driving by the Hawa Mahal. Jaipur overnight stay.
Drive 221 kilometres (6 hours) from Jaipur to Agra, stopping along the way to see Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned red sandstone city constructed by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century.
